I don't make many bracelets - usually because sizing can be tricky, so I have been thinking cuffs are almost fool proof.
I started with a blank piece of sterling sheet metal which I cut and filed and then started the reticulation process and then began fusing recycled bits of my 14k gold, sterling silver and fine silver. The molten silver kind of swallowed some of the bits of gold but I like that it is so subtle. I also added tube rivets (one brass) randomly throughout the piece. I felt that it was a little short so I added thick gauge metal at the back which I feel added a little more design interest too.
It is adjustable to some degree and goes on easily and is comfy. I was careful to sand and file any rough or pokey parts of the metal off to ensure that it is worn without pain!! :/
This is a raw and organic piece of jewelry,modern and warm. It is 1 inch wide and 6-1/2 inches diameter.
