Hand-worked organic ring with a trio of little sterling silver poppies made from recycled silver bits. I balled bits of my silver scraps and them hammered and domed them to make the poppy tops...these were originally made to make the little fronds that fall from my maple tree in the spring but after I finished one earring I did not move on to the second one thinking of the chaos that could happen with the twigs and hair! So I figured that making poppies in a pretty little organic ring would be harmless. I wore them and they did not get caught in my hair -like the twig - I should post that "could have been" earring!
ANYWAY!!! Jeez! On with the details,
These pretty earrings are extremely light and are roughly 2-3/4 inches long and 1-1/4 inches wide. The poppies are about a 1/2 inch+ tall. The tops are 4mm. The wire is 18 gauge but slightly flatter after passing it through my rolling mill for texture.
My photos were taken using a macro lens so the earrings are smaller than the photos show. If you would like a perspective photo please let me know and I will shoot one for you.
