Perky caribbean colored Amazonite discs are pinned to gently forged sterling silver arms. This pair of earrings was a super fun success...even after all of the years of working with metal sometimes there are problems...melting, scorching etc... but these were executed without any of those things and what makes it so cool is that the elements that were being connected are SUPER small. The tiny rings that the pins go through to connect the stone were soldered onto the slightly forged arms and if you look closely you will see that inside the brass tubing that holds the ear wire I actually riveted in a smaller silver tube within the brass tube. The little silver dots are recycled bits of left over pieces of silver that I melted into little balls and hammered flat..which also soldered on smoothly! There is a lot of detail that goes into these "simple"looking earrings.
Total length is just 2 inches. The Amazonite discs are 1/2 inch diameter and 6mm thick. The silver dots are 3mm. The arms measure 1 1/4 inch and finally the ear wire is 1/2 inch.
