I am excited by this necklace because first of all, I forgot I had it. It was in my display case that I had stashed under my bookcase (not sure why??) and I have been meaning to make more necklaces! Yay!
There is a lot going on in this asymmetrical piece. I hand wrapped two strands of tiny little diamonds that connect to a pretty center cluster that holds a green druzy, a sterling silver tulip shape and a turquoise and coral inlay bead capped with sterling silver. On the opposite side there is a unique section of hand worked fine silver chain...the little discs are created from my recycled silver bits. There is one little black diamond hidden within the two strands of white diamonds...
The necklace measures a total of 18-1/2 inches...the wrapped diamond section is 8 inches on one side and about 3-1/4 inches on the other. The silver section is 4-3/4 inches. There is a 1-1/4 inches long extender chain with a pretty silver Ohm charm and a convenient and easy to operate swivel lobster clasp. The center cluster of pretty things drops 1-1/2 inches. The tulip bead is 1/2 inch long, the druzy is 10mm and the inlay bead is 7mm diameter.
