Awesome thick slices of raw juicy red/purple garnets are suspended within heavy gauge sterling silver hoops. The stone is in raw form, sliced into discs. The beautiful inclusions and fissures are natural and adds a ton of interesting dimension. The stone is dark but because it is hanging, the light comes through and shows the color well. I tried to capture how pretty the stone is in the pictures(check out how cool the center is) I hope that you like it as much as I do.
Recently I "tested" them out for comfort at my friends birthday party and they were a huge hit!! They really are pretty cool. I don't tend to wear large earrings very often, these were not heavy like I imagined they would be. Although they do measure pretty large, they are very comfortable and oh so darn pretty!
These beauties are 3 inches total length with a diameter of 2-1/8 inches. The garnet is 7/8 inch and 5mm thick. The smaller ring at the top is 1/2 inch diameter.
