Deep blue lapis is set on top of a hand fabricated hollow box rimmed with sterling silver beaded wire. On the back side a soldered my hand made PMC heart charm that is surrounded by a little galaxy of drilled holes. The chain is also hand worked with little hammered beads were the seams meet, connects with a sterling silver hinge clasp and ends with a sterling silver Ohm charm.
The lapis is stunning with flecks of sparkling pyrite and fantastic facets. The hollow box keeps it pretty light weight but gives it some depth. Total length is 17.5 inches and is adjustable. The hollow box with the set stone stand 3/8 inch deep and the diameter is roughly 5/8 wide X 3/4 inch long. The silver ring in which the stone hangs is 3/4 inch diameter.
