This design was created as earrings and I thought how cool would it be on the horizontal instead of vertical!? It is elegant, unique and also a bit funky and of course one of a kind-yes it worked out well. The garnet is a deep rusty orange with darker orange/brown inclusions, the back plate is 3/8 of an inch high and the longest part of the fine silver fringe is the one with the stone on it and it is slightly over 2 inches long. The stone a 1/2 inch high and 3/8 inch wide. Hangs from a smooth sterling silver chain, has a swivel lobster clasp and an Ohm charm. Sterling and fine silver with an oxidized finish. This is a beautiful necklace!
