Hand fabricated recycled silver fused earrings, gifts for women, ethical Topaz stone, artisan made in USA, One of a kind organic earrings,

So beautiful and incredibly interesting earrings! The silver is from my scrap pieces from other projects. I melted them down and put the mass through my rolling mill until I had it to the thickness that I wanted. After annealing and rolling through multiple times I drew an oval onto the metal and cut out the shape and hollowed out the middle of the oval. I framed the piece with sterling silver wire and then fused silver dust onto the front of the piece. This created such a fantastic texture. Finally I attached a set Topaz for extra sparkle and shine. the stone has an ever so slight golden color to it, which did not show well in the picture. These took many hours but I think the end result is awesome.
I find these not super heavy but they do have some weight...I don't wear much jewelry so I am not a great judge. I have had a couple of my friends try them on and they reported that they didn't feel heavy at all...
Total length is approximately 2 1/4 inches, width is 1 1/4 inches. The stone is about 5/8 inch. Please note that these are handmade and will not be identical to its match. They are artisan made and perfectly imperfect ❣️
